Course Overview

The Master of Commerce (M.Com.) is a two-year postgraduate programme designed to provide advanced knowledge in commerce, accounting, finance, and business management.

The programme focuses on both conceptual clarity and practical application, covering areas such as advanced accounting, financial management, taxation, marketing, human resource management, and business law. It equips students with analytical, managerial, and decision-making skills essential for today’s competitive and dynamic business environment.

The curriculum follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) prescribed by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, ensuring academic flexibility, skill development, and research orientation.

The Commerce Laboratory is a modern facility that supports practical learning in accounting, finance, and business analytics. It is equipped with computers, internet access, and professional software such as Tally, MS Excel, SPSS, and financial modeling tools./p>

The lab enables students to gain hands-on experience in computerized accounting, financial analysis, taxation computation, and business data interpretation. Regular training sessions on digital accounting systems, e-commerce platforms, and data-driven decision-making are conducted to enhance professional readiness.

Networking and Cybersecurity Lab – For hands-on practice in network setup, firewall configuration and security testing.
