About the Department

The Postgraduate Department of Applied Electronics at Sri Vasavi College (Self-Finance Wing), Erode was established in the academic year 2008–2009 to promote higher education and research in Electronics and Communication Systems. The department emphasizes advanced knowledge in electronics, instrumentation, communication, and embedded systems.

With highly qualified faculty and modern labs, the department has produced technocrats and researchers contributing to telecommunication, automation, embedded systems, and VLSI design.

The M.Sc. Applied Electronics is a two-year postgraduate programme affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. It blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training in electronics, instrumentation, and communication systems.
