The Postgraduate Department of Commerce (Computer Applications) at Sri Vasavi College (Self-Finance Wing), Erode, was established in the academic year 2002–2003. The department was founded with the primary objective of promoting advanced learning in the fields of Commerce, Finance, and Information Technology.

The Department ofM.Com(CA) , Sri Vasavi College(SFW), Erode, jointly organized a National Seminar on "The Impact of Digitalization on Consumer Behavior (NSIDCB'25)" on 28.02.2025.The seminar aimed to provide a platform for academics, researchers, and industry experts to share their knowledge and insights on the impact of digitalization on consumer behavior.
